silverwillWelcome to my letter! I am really excited for this exchange and thrilled to see what you come up with! I'm not very good at writing these letters (or coming up with prompts as you will notice, and I especially tend to ramble so please bear with me) but I'm super excited for anything and everything you come up with, because more fanworks are always awesome!
These details are just here to give you some ideas if you need them, so please feel free to use your own ideas if none of these rambles inspire anything! I just want to see more fanworks for my fave fandoms! ♥

Some things I like in fics:
- Humor - I like witty dialogue and banter, particularly if the humor is in the spirit of canon
- Adventures! Characters getting into all the shenanigans! Case-fic!
- Worldbuilding. Stories that explore any kind of aspects of the setting, or fill in holes that canon hinted at but left open to interpretation. Missing scene fics are great and minor characters getting some love (and acknowledgement!) are also great.
- Exploring character dynamics and relationships. Family fluff and Friendship (blood-related families or found families) Bonus points for characters with undying loyalties, parent/child, or sibling-like bonds. Extra bonus points for tales of brotherly love. Mega bonus points for stupid brothers that obviously care about each other but fail at
lifecommunication. - Angst & H/C – I don’t really like whump, but I do like darker or more serious fics, or characters showing a little bit of weakness or alternatively trying their hardest not to show any weakness in front of their closest allies. Basically more on the Comfort side of H/C.
- For Video Game fandoms: Working game mechanics into the story. Characters being aware that they are in a video game type of meta fics. Parodies and Satire are also great!
- Time Travel. There's just a special place in my heart for time travel stories!
- Canon Divergence & What if Character A was actually XYZ all along type of AUs
- Seinfeldian Conversations - I always enjoy characters talking about any sort of random thing

Fandom 1: The Untamed
The Untamed has really consumed my life! I love the setting and the Sect politics and the spread of fear and misinformation and destroying people in the court of public opinion...
Also I love the Nie brothers and the Nie Sect and want all the Nie content!
I love the semi-sentient sabers and would love to any sort of worldbuilding with them and their wielders. Baxia sticking with NHS after NMJ dies to protect him/get revenge. NMJ waxing poetic about Baxia the way one does about a ship/fancy car. Or just NMJ & Baxia being the best night-hunting partners.
Or for a canon-divergence prompt - what if Baxia was the saber that Wen Ruohan tampered with and shattered instead on that fateful night hunt?
For 3zun + NHS, I love how NHS immediately adopts LXC & JGY as older brothers and just want more of that. LXC & JGY spoiling him. Sharing NMJ's exasperations. Dragging him out to a night hunt because 'you have the three strongest cultivators of your generation teaching you. Learn something.' Also open to something darker/bittersweet with NMJ's impending qi deviation driving a wedge between him and NHS and sending NHS closer to the other two (whether intentionally or not). Or just, you know, NMJ & JGY arguing while LXC & NHS play go in the background. Or something. I love this entire group's dynamic.... tragic as it is.....
For LWJ & NHS I like the idea of them being close friends because their brothers are...or the opposite where their brothers want them to be close friends, but they just don't really get along past basic politeness. Or something in the timeskip with LWJ & NHS mourning WWX together. NHS is probably the only one who doesn't openly condemn him at that point, and this could also be a way for NHS to test the waters around LWJ in preparation for The Plot.
And for Nie Brothers.... anything Nie Brothers. Childhood, adulthood, visiting the other during the Sunshot Campaign, fighting over minor things - I enjoy any and all Nie Brothers content, especially with NMJ trying to push NHS to improve while also being overprotective and spoiling him, and NHS just putting all his efforts into avoiding saber practice. Top 5 overly elaborate schemes!

Fandom 2: Mo dao Zu Shi
All my likes with The Untamed apply here too. I admittedly don't really have a preference when it comes to canons so feel free to mix and match elements as needed.
Jiang Cheng & Jin Guangyao & Jin Ling - JC & JGY are like a divorced couple and I need ALL the fic of them lovingly raising Jin Ling while hating each others guts. Or at least each others parenting methods. Pity Jin Ling.
3zun - I love this dysfunctional mess of a brotherhood. Everything about this brotherhood was a bad idea but they went and swore it anyway. Because politics. I still love all three of them though. Would love to see them getting along and being war heroes during Sunshot, or discussing politics and plans for the future (like the Lookout Towers). Or all the gaslighting/manipulation going on behind the scenes. Or canon divergences where JGY kills JGS before killing NMJ and then trying to become Chief Cultivator - does NMJ allow it or oppose it? Is he suspicious about JGS' death or convinced there's no foul play
Jiang Cheng & Nie Huaisang & Wei Wuxian - Gusu Trio! Where no one is from Gusu! I'd love to see more school days shenanigans with them. Finding trouble, exploring the Cloud Recesses or Caiyi Town. Or later NHS trying to arrange some sort of misadventure for them to try to rekindle their old silliness. Or them knowing each other since childhood and hanging out during discussion conferences (I always found it strange how no one seems to know anyone before the Gusu lecture... you'd think these prominent families would want to introduce their kids to each other young....)

Fandom 3: Tian Guan Ci Fu
I really really hope the TGCF live action is as good as CQL because I want this fandom to be as popular and fanwork-rich as MDZS. TGCF is so good! There are loads of great characters, the comedy moments are hysterical, the heartwrenching moments will destroy you, and the plot has all the feel and escalation of a really great Shonen series, and OH MY GOD THE UNDYING LOYALTY AND DEVOTION! And not just from Hua Cheng, although he is the king of this!
And have I mentioned all the tragic friendships/siblingships? This is an MXTX series... being an older sibling is still the most dangerous job out there.....
Shi Wudu & Shi Qingxuan - finding out certain spoilers about a certain arc was what convinced me to read TGCF. I was not disappointed and I have all the tragic sibling feels from these two. Shi Wudu is not a good person... but he is an older brother who would do anything to keep his younger brother safe. And considering said younger brother is one of the sweetest kindest people out there... can you blame him? Can you really really blame him?
For the Shi brothers, I would love seeing more of that protective side of Shi Wudu's (for better or worse). Taking care of his brother when they're young, comforting him after a dealing with the Reverend of Empty Words, getting him the lockets that tell them when the other is in pain... or for something darker, SWD being possessive. He definitely gave me some smothery possessive vibes at certain moments...
Or for something lighter, the novel mentions that the two of them occasionally gather up their stories and shudder at the legends the mortals write about them. Would love to see what sort of stories they're finding. The wilder the better!
Or what if they had taken Option 1.... (although imo Option 1 was the crueler one haha)
Or what if we avoided this whole mess because Guoshi was able to keep an eye on them like he wanted.
Ling Wen & Pei Ming & Shi Wudu - It's 3zun! Only functional! And everyone else hates them! No seriously I love the Three Tumors so much individually and especially how much they care about each other. They've all helped each other conceal serious crimes and are content to get tuina massages and have game nights together and be the mean girls of Heaven. I want all the Three Tumor adventures and game nights and looking out for each other, and committing crimes together. It doesn't sound like Shi Wudu was involved in Ling Wen's promotion - but that's vague so maybe he was! Pei Ming & Ling Wen helping Shi Wudu find someone to swap Qingxuan's fate with. Ling Wen & Shi Wudu helping Pei Ming out with....something? A fling gone wrong? (Pei Ming doesn't really tend to commit his own crimes admittedly) The three of them dealing with someone who has a grudge against them - they call it Tuesday.
(And Bonus points for SQX trying very hard to break up the tumors and being Pei Ming's sitcom archnemesis because he wants his brother to have better friends)
Pei Ming & Shi Qingxuan - SQX being Pei Ming's sitcom archnemesis. Seriously any time they are on page together, SQX is mouthing off to him and picking fights and while it's pretty deserved, it is also absolutely hilarious, and even more so considering despite many flaws Pei Ming is one of the more noble officials out there, is actually a really good friend to those he cares about, and seems to be something of SQX's designated guardian when SWD is not around. Even though it's 100% for SWD's sake, it still very touching. Also touching was SWD telling SQX that Pei Ming would take care of him during that one chapter - it didn't happen but I want it to. Canon divergence for He Xuan leaving SQX behind and letting Pei Ming take him back with him instead of dumping him at the capital? Or a missing scene of the two of them reuniting and discussing things - I felt very robbed about the lack of proper SQX & PM reunion considering PM was one of the few officials actively searching for him after the Black Water arc. Let them meet and reconcile and let PM try to look out for his best friend's little brother.
Or for more comedy, PM having to explain to SQX why exactly Xie Lian's entire body is covered in evil at the end of the novel. I'm sorry but someone really needs to tell the kid that Hualian are not sworn brothers and SWD clearly screwed up somewhere. Or just 800 years of PM & SQX being sitcom archnemeses. It's a great relationship.
Bàn Yuè/Péi Sù - The donghua made me emotional. They are both GOOD KIDS and deserve all good things and happiness! Give me happy moments of their childhood, working together to try to protect the people, reuniting after the Banyue arc in the Rain Master's territory! Postcanon get-together!
Bonus points for Pei Ming as the Mother-in-law.
Ling Wen/Pei Ming - Have I mentioned how much I love Pei Ming and how far he goes for his friends? I especially love his friendship with Ling Wen and how pretty much nothing changes between them after she defects - and also he knows how competent she is, and is probably one of the main reasons she's decently popular with the martial gods. Also they killed a god together. Admittedly I see them more as friends or friends with benefits than in a committed relationship (mostly because PM loves his flings) but I love how much they care for each other. Would love to see something with them first meetings, plotting their overthrow of Jing Wen, talking about Xuli since they're both from there, Xuli traditions/dishes, on and off flings, realizing with some horror that they're effectively in charge of Heaven at the end

Fandom 4: Crossover Fandom
Winchester Brothers & Rosangela Blackwell - Two series I recently got into and I'm curious how they would go together and how their respective lores could fit. Would love to see a case fic of the Winchester brothers investigating a haunting in NYC while Rosa & Joey try to help a ghost move on. Working together! Clashing! Poking fun at each others tropes (like Rosa always using her real name...and getting restraining orders to everywhere)
Nie Huaisang & Shi Qingxuan - My favorite characters from the MXTX series I've read! :D I want them to meet and be cute together - maybe NHS prays at/commissions a temple where the Wind Master is depicted as male because he'd heard the Wind & Water Masters were brothers, loves the story, and wants to pray for a good relationship with his brother. Something like that...
Majima Goro & Phoenix Wright - Once upon a time, Namco & Capcom & Sega (and Monosoft) released a bonkers little game called Project x Zone 2. In that bonkers little game, Majima Goro and Phoenix Wright met.....and Majima revealed that Phoenix Wright once successfully defended him in court. And told him not to punch the judge. There is a Story here that needs to be written! XD

Fandom 5: Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu LOVE!
And aliens. I absolutely adore the aliens!
Defence Club & Wombat - DC + Wombat shenanigans! Teaching Wombat about Earth culture! Parodies of classic magical girl plots! Parodies of other shows! Alient culture things! All of them hanging out together! Seinfeldian conversations galore! All around Battle Lovers silliness welcome!
Hireashi & Zundar - And where would this show be without its adorable villains! I love this bad guy duo and their shady producer ways! I want all the stories of them plotting together, coming up with episode concepts, studying their market, trying to make a comeback, or facing comeuppence for their actions! Comical suffering welcome!

Fandom 6: Resonance of Fate
I really love Resonance of Fate. I love the setting, the atmosphere, the worldbuilding, the NPCs with changing dialogue, the relationship between the three leads...the actual story is kind of a mess, yes, but the characterization, setting and gameplay more than make up for that in my opinion. The world is so rich and mysterious if you go talking to all of the NPCs and reading the descriptions of items/locations.
I want to read any kind of story about Trio, either focusing on the group as a whole or one or two members of the group. For some specific prompts, maybe something like filling in missing scenes? RoF rarely makes clear how much time has passed between major events, such as Vashyron taking in Zephyr, or Leanne joining the group (that 'a year and a few months later' in the intro has always felt really questionable imo).

Fandom 7: Trails of Cold Steel
I don't know when but at some point these two snuck up on me and became extremely adorable. And the Millium died. And it became tragic. And I love tragic. And also the calm guy/genki girl dynamic and want to see more of it. What have they been up to in the time between games? How often does Millium visit Jusis? What havoc does she wreak on the household? Maybe a quieter moment where Jusis is dealing with all of his family problems and pressure of running the province (and Rufus is just completely mia) and Millium helps him through it? Whatever did happen to Duke Albarea anyway? Or post CS4, Millium is back - maybe Jusis can adopt her if she has nowhere else to go. His entire family is either dead or in jail and it's a big lonely mansion... plus the Ironbloods probably have...their own things to sort out..... Or hey, Lammy's probably gone for him and Millium misses him. Some comfort from Jusis about that?
or... what if Millium's new body and her soul aren't so compatible after all.....
