silverwillWelcome to my letter! I am really excited for this exchange and thrilled to see what you come up with! I'm not very good at writing these letters (or coming up with prompts, and I especially tend to ramble so please bear with me) but I'm super excited for anything and everything you come up with, because more fanworks are always awesome!
These prompts are only here to give you some ideas if you need them, so please feel free to ignore them if you have your own! I just want to see more fanworks for the pairs I like! <3

Fandom 1: Norn9
Note: this was nominated under the anime, but if you are familiar with the original VN, please feel free to use that as the basis. I’m familiar with both.
Koharu/Shukuri Akito (Norn9)
Ichinose Senri/Koharu (Norn9)
I love Koharu! She is a cute sweetheart who only deserves nice things! I love her innocence and determination and ability to see the best in people.
Of her own love interests, my favorite is Senri. I love the cheerful/gloomy dynamic between them, the fire/water powers, and how she’s the only one who can get Senri to come out of his shell and want to participate in activities. Would love to just see more of that: the cute kiddos being cute kiddos!
Koharu/Akito is my rarepair for this series, because when I was playing the game, every one of Koharu’s routes gave the two of them cute interactions (and honestly I enjoyed that more than the entirety of Akito’s own route with Nanami). Akito is a tsundere but Koharu is so sweet and honest that the tsun can’t win out. They’re also both fond of cooking which could be a cute thing for them to bond over. Or alternatively, Koharu helping the Akito & Senri reconnect.
I feel like this series gets a bit of a bad rep (in fairness, it came out the same year as Code Realize, has a confusing overall plot, and a subpar Vita localization – and the anime was Not Great to Koharu), but I love Norn9 and it’s messy but interesting world and its characters. There’s a lot to dig into with them!

Fandom 2: Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy
Oerba Dia Vanille/Oerba Yun Fang (FFXIII)

Fandom Specific DNW: Post-Lightning Returns settings. I like the original setting.
Ah FFXIII… The trilogy with great characters, good ideas, and terrible execution. Despite everything, I still like this trilogy, warts and all. I especially love the tie-in novels and how they included all the worldbuilding. I think Episode Zero alone has more lore for the setting and characters than the entire trilogy.
But anyway! :D
Vanille/Fang – I love them so much! I love the childlike Vanille vs. the cool aloof Fang, the two orphans from Oerba who were chosen to become Pulse L’Cie and destroy the enemy nation – and then hundreds of years later are awoken to finish the job, except one of them remembers what happened last time and would rather wait for death than go through with it again. Meanwhile the other will destroy the world many times over to protect her. It’s that absolute devotion <3
I would love to see something with their history. Pulse/Oerba customs! What it means to be chosen as a Pulse L’cie on Pulse! Moments set during their first Focus. Teaching the rest of the party their customs when they arrive there. Cocoon culture shock! AUs where one of them does turn into a Cieth!
Just… them and their devotion to each other and their fight against fate!
Caius/Yuel – speaking of fights against fate! An immortal cursed to watch his lover be reincarnated and die over and over again. A prophet so desperate for the man who treated her well that she causes his immortality in the first place. These two are both so awful, so tragic… It’s that absolute devotion!
Honestly give me anything with them! Sweet moments during Yuel’s lives. Tragedy and codependency! Role reversal where Yeul is the immortal and Caius is the one dying over and over! AUs where Yeul finally says screw it and does fight fate, timeline be damned. Anything and everything is good!

Fandom 3: Fire Emblem Blazing Sword
Lucius/Raven (Fire Emblem)
This is probably among my first ships ever. I love the tsundere/gentle dynamic, their shared history and tragedy, and Lucius is the one person who keeps sticking by Raven no matter how often he’s pushed away.
I would love anything with these two, but especially things focused on their backstory and the fall of House Cornwall, or something where one takes care of the other (Raven taking care of Lucius during his bouts of illness or a reverse case) Really love h/c between them
Stories set in the FEH verse are welcome too! We recently got a Child Lucius alt, so it could be fun to explore the adult versions’ interactions with him! (especially given all we know about Lucius’ childhood)

Fandom 4: Tales of Arise
Alphen/Shionne Imeris (ToArise)
I used to love the Tales series but kinda fell out of it around Zestiria. Tales of Arise brought me back and while it has its flaws I love the two leads and their relationship, especially in the first half of the game: Alphen, the man who can’t feel pain, and Shionne, the woman who can’t touch others without causing pain.
I would love to see something set during that time. Alphen getting himself unknowingly hurt and Shionne having to pay attention to that. Touch-starved Shionne getting a little bit of physical and emotional comfort. The two of them opening up to each other. Humorous cooking misadventures (Alphen’s spices vs. Shionne’s bottomless stomach). I just really love how their relationship slowly grows over the course of their adventure.

Lan Xichen/Nie Huaisang (MDZS/CQL) - All Xisang content is good! I especially like darker takes (Dark!LXC <3) or something where LXC is involved in the revenge plot - either working with NHS, acting instead of NHS... or NHS's target instead. But I also love LXC spoiling NHS. NHS is just very spoilable :3
Jiang Yanli/Jin Guangyao (MDZS) – What if JYL fell for JGY instead? Or was forced into her marriage with JZX before the two reconciled and thus sought out a fellow Jin victim? Or after JZX’s death, JYL is all alone – somehow all of these prompts are taking a dark turn, but I welcome anything for these two. Maybe JYL lives and the two coparent Jin Ling together and try to keep their relationship as strictly coparents.
Nie Mingjue/Wen Qing (MDZS) – The berserker & the doctor. Two older siblings with weaker younger brothers they would do anything for! Maybe some kind of arranged marriage AU for them? Maybe they were betrothed as children but then NMJ’s father was killed – was that arrangement dissolved or is WRH pushing for it extra hard now? Or a Sunshot divergence where WQ ends up with the Nie somehow. Maybe a scenario where they show the other a moment of weakness from all of the pressure is getting to them.
Wen Qing/Wen Zhuliu (MDZS/CQL) – I love these two. The Core melting hand and the core restorer. How did WQ come up with her theories? Did WZL play any role in it? Maybe an AU where WZL is loyal to WQ instead of WC. Or a CQL AU where he accompanies her to the CR to make sure she completes her mission. Complicated relationships and clashing loyalties. Lots of potential for them!
Jiang Cheng/Wen Qing (CQL) - I really loved their tragic romance in CQL. One thing I would love to see for them is them genuinely trying to make their romance work, at the cost of their responsibilities... and reality promptly catches up.

You might be noticing a bit of a theme… and that theme is I think Shi Qingxuan should be spoiled by a martial god!
Pei Ming/Shi Qingxuan - I really love the sitcom archnemesis they have and how for all their bickering, it does feel like they know each other really well. I really want to see Pei Ming taking care of SQX in any context. Protecting him from the RoEW or an enemy or even his own impulsiveness. An AU where PM takes in SQX after the BW arc is also good. First meetings are also fun! The two of them setting aside their differences (or not) when it comes to Shi Wudu! Gift giving!
(also potentially fun: Pei Ming/Shi Qingxuan from an outsider’s pov; ex: Pei Xiu, Shi Wudu, Ling Wen etc…)
Pei Xiu/Shi Qingxuan – I really don’t know why but I get a huge bodyguard crush vibe from these two. Or just the two in similar social circles thanks to the Three Tumors. There’s just something about the way Pei Xiu is instantly respectful to Lady Wind Master in her intro scene when he was hostile to Xie Lian moments before. I think they could be cute together. Maybe something where Pei Xiu is tasked with protecting SQX, going on missions together, or an AU where HX dumps SQX on PX after the Black Water arc. The person who helped cast him out of heaven was revealed as a fraud and cast out as well…
Lang Qianqiu/Shi Qingxuan – I like to call this ship AutumnLeaf haha! Anyway these two got along great during the Ghost City arc and I think there’s plenty more room for shenanigans with them! Or bonding over their closest friend betraying them. They are both all in on friendships and I think there’s room for them to bond over that! Maybe something with SQX helping out with Guzi.
Feng Xin/Shi Qingxuan – FengFeng! :D More bodyguard crush vibes! SQX in some ways feels like a younger more innocent XL, so it could be fun for FX to be drawn to that. Also something something with FX’s fear of women vs. SQX’s preference for his female form.
Pei Xiu/Banyue – They deserve good things! I'd love to see them as kids growing up in Banyue or young adults planning to avert bloodshed by coming up with the most ruthless plan possible. Or their reunion after the Banyue arc! BY taking care of PX after the Rain Master brings him home injured. Maybe a role reversal AU where Banyue ascends while PX becomes a ghost. Anything with these two kiddos is good.
Ling Wen/Shi Wudu – Team burn down the world for their loved ones! These two are both ruthless and willing to do what needs to be done, but they’re also good friends! I would love to see something with the two of them supporting each other, playful bickering, or being the one person they’d show weakness to when the pressure gets to them.

Pei Ming/Meng Shi – He’s the god of love known for his many affairs and she’s a famous prostitute. I think Pei Ming would be very interested in meeting Meng Shi, and per his MO, he would make sure she’s taken care of afterwards. I would to read about the two of them meeting, a fleeting affair, maybe PM averting some tragedies of MDZS by rescuing Meng Shi and Meng Yao. I just think their interactions would be interesting!
Nie Huaisang/Yue Qingyuan – I love whoever put this into the tag set! I love NHS, I love YQY and I would love to see what kind of interactions the two of them could have! Sorry I don’t have too many concrete prompts for this one. I just want to see them interacting!
Lan Xichen/Shi Qingxuan - Similar to the above, I saw this in the tags and I AM INTRIGUED! I don't really have a specific prompt for this but I would be happy with anything and everything here! Being exemplary role models together! Bonding over their ignorance. SQX granting LXC's prayers or serving as a muse for his art. LXC being a doting big brother to SQX.

Oh Trails <3 Sky is one of my favorite RPGs ever, I haven’t finished Crossbell yet but love what I played, meanwhile Cold Steel frustrates me in many ways… but I still adore the world and the characters!
Olivier/Mueller – There is no way to go wrong with these two! Olivier has perfected driving his bodyguard insane, and Mueller has perfected roasting him for it to an art form. I love all of their interactions, the trust and history they have. I want anything and everything for them! Maybe something with their first meeting, times in Alster, Olivier finding ways to troll Mueller, Mueller getting one over on him instead. I just love them a lot! (and wish Falcom treated Mueller better in this arc T_T)
Juna/Kurt – Brooding boy and Genki girl! My favorite dynamic! :D I think these two are great and I just want to see them being cute! Sharing interests, teaching each other about their respective countries, dates in Erebonia or Crossbell.
Laura/Elliot – I have no idea how I landed on this ship but I like it a lot. Just something about powerful, action girl Laura being soft for the meek gentle music boy. I just want to see the two of them together, being cute, indulging each others interests. Maybe Elliot writing songs for Laura or Laura protecting him from danger (not that he can’t protect himself, but you know), or the other way around. I just think they’re cute together!
Alisa/Rean - Are they the canon pair? Idk and neither does Falcom, but I really like their dynamic a lot. Alisa is a very fun character in a very unique position in Erebonia and has a lot if interesting relationships and I like seeing her and Rean's growing maturity across the Cold Steel games. I'd love to see the two of them supporting each other, or a scenario where Alisa is able to take charge.
Alternatively, I also welcome any and all Magical Girl Alisa AUs! Not just for Rean/Alisa but for any of the above ships! Feel free to draw from the existing Magical Girl Alisa canon for character roles or make stuff up as needed since much of it is Japanese-only.
